The Key of E Major is made up to the following chords. E Major, F#m, G#m, A Major, B Major, C#m and D dim.

 

C#m pentatonic would be the natural minor. 
The root note fret for C#m pentatonic is played at the 9th fret.
Remember the pentatonic minor root note fingering is always.
